Fire Watch Officer

Description

Complete Security LLC is seeking dependable Fire Watch Officers to support properties, construction sites, businesses, and facilities throughout the Memphis area when fire alarms, sprinkler systems, or fire protection systems are impaired or under repair.

This role is ideal for applicants who are alert, detail-oriented, responsible, and able to follow fire watch procedures while maintaining a professional presence on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine fire watch patrols throughout assigned areas.
• Monitor for smoke, fire hazards, blocked exits, unsafe conditions, or emergency concerns.
• Maintain accurate fire watch logs and required documentation.
• Report hazards, incidents, or concerns to the proper contact immediately.
• Follow client site procedures and company post orders.
• Remain alert and visible during assigned shifts.
• Communicate professionally with clients, staff, residents, visitors, and emergency personnel when needed.

Requirements

• Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and respectfully.
• Must be able to stand, walk, patrol, and remain alert during assigned shifts.
• Must be able to complete logs and reports accurately.
• Security, fire watch, safety, or customer service experience is preferred.
